‘Big Dan the Pest Man’ is a Maryland State Department of Agriculture licensed and certified General Pest Control company in good standing with the State of Maryland. With 25 years' experience, Dan Purdie is the owner/operator of this Baltimore-based, family-run, minority business enterprise.

Mr. Purdie serves as an expert witness for pest management, providing legal testimony for best
practices for real estate developers, land-lords, and organizations. In 2013, BIg Dan the Pest
Man was awarded a multi year renewable municipal contract for rodent eradication throughout
Baltimore County. In addition, Mr. Purdie currently serves as Supervisor of Integrated Pest
Management for Baltimore City Public Schools. He lives, works, and plays in Baltimore with his
wife of 29 years and two children.
